What is ICEBAR?
All appliances, including glasses, are made of ice in Icebar. Enjoy some excellent cocktails while taking photos of each other and our amazing ice sculptures. We offer a great variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The Icebar in Budapest is likely to have the most ice sculptures worldwide. Visiting Icebar is always an exciting and fun experience that offers many photo opportunities.
What is the temperature in ICEBAR?
Around minus 1 ºC, but you are not going to be cold, because we provide our patrons with warm Eskimo ponchos and gloves.
How big is ICEBAR?
It has a standard size, like everywhere else in Europe. We used 35,000 kg (35 tons) ice for the construction of Icebar.
What is the size of the cups / glass ?
We use two types of cups:
- ice glasses for alcoholic beverages. The ice glass is approx. 10 cm tall with a square or round shape, which is about the height of a water glass.
- ice glasses for shots for those who would like taste 100% Finlandia Vodka or Hungarian Pálinka. Shot glasses are approx. 6 cm tall.
Is there any music?
Sure, and you can even dance if you want to!
How can I buy tickets?
Tickets are available at the venue or online. We offer several ticket options that include the entry fee and one or more drinks. Of course, additional drinks can be purchased in the bar.
Is there a limit on staying in Icebar?
There is no time limit; you are welcome to stay as long as you have fun. No separate fee is charged for taking pictures.
What is a ice ludge?
Drink slide is when your drink is not served in a glass, but into an ice sculpture, through which it directly flows into your mouth. Drink slides are truly funny and spectacular and are worth it to try. Only 100% vodka is served as drink slide. You can try a drink slide free of charge, just ask the mixer.
